Launch

  1. To launch the Minecraft Server, use the following two commands:
    cd /opt/minecraft-server
    sudo java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar

Your Raspberry Pi Minecraft Server is up and running!

During initial world creation, players may experience unstable connections, due to load on the server. However, once world creation is complete, player connections will become stable.

Overclocking the Raspberry Pi might be advantageous in increasing Minecraft Server performance.
